In 12-state Mega Millions draw which took place on Tuesday 25th of Aug, the California lottery winning numbers are 3, 12, 19, 22, 40 and the Mega number is 2. The predictable jackpot is $252 million.

The drawing was the 14th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold. A ticket sold in New York for the July 7 draw had all six numbers and was worth $133 million.

According to the Mega number and the odd of matching all the five numbers is 1 in 175,711,536.

Other than California lottery, the Mega Millions game is also played in Illinois, Washington, Georgia, Maryland, Michigan, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, New York, and Virginia.

California Lottery officials has reminded the public that using money intended for other purposes, spending above a person’s budget or borrowing money to play the lottery can ultimately lead to some major problems for the players and their families.

Heidi Montag has made her first live performance on Miss Universe pageant at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas on 23rd of August, 2009.

“I am so excited to perform … at Miss Universe for my first ever live performance,” Montag had told the people before her performance. “This is such a miracle in life and I give thanks to God everyday for this once in a lifetime opportunity.”

Heidi Montag had gone to Twitter to share her thoughts. She tweets, “Last night was one of the best nights of my life!!!! I had so much fun! my first performance! thank you God!”

But there was a bit improbably same about her performance. Not only the lip-synching of Heidi Montag was same that of Britney Spears’ performance, but the outfit also.

According to a writer at the Entertainment Weekly “moderately competent lip-syncing, some Britney-wannabe choreography … and that’s about it.”

According to X17 “you have to admit that it could have been way worse!”

According to Perez Hilton “while it was most definitely bad — it wasn’t EMBARRASSINGLY bad!”

Simon Cowell’s competition ‘X Factor’ which is a new reality show was started on 22nd of August in the UK. Danyl Johnson, who is a 27 year old teacher from Reading, England, gave a very expressive audition. He was the last contestant of that night.

Simon gave a standing ovation and told that “Danyl was single-handedly, one of the best first auditions I have ever heard.”

Simon called it the first best audition he has ever heard in about nine years of judging the shows. Truly? According to Simon “The guy is definitely very good, but I think that 58% of it is actually the background vocals and the audience reaction.”

According to Police she is murdered by her husband.

On last weekend a photo was claimed to be Jasmine Fiore’s mutilated body by TMZ site, but TMZ had to remove it from site due to great deal of negative reaction from the viewers. Jasmine Fiore’s body was brutally mutilated, her fingers was clipped, her face was badly bruised and her all teeth was removed. Over all her body was too much mutilated that it was impossible to identify. Her body was identified by the serial number of her breast implants. She was found in the Buena Park area of Los Angeles in the morning of 15 August, by police.

According to police most suspected person in her murder case is her Ex-husband Ryan Jenkins. Ryan Jenkins is still underground and police is still in his search. Jasmine fiore death photo was available on TMZ but it is removed on great deal of negative reaction of the viewers.

Aug, 23, 2009, 58th Annual Miss Universe 2009 was held in Nassau, Bahamas. Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez crowned Miss Universe 2009 at the Miss Universe beauty pageant in Nassau, Bahamas, Sunday. Miss Universe crown being placed by Dayana Mendoza, of Venezuela who is Miss Universe 2008. This 18 years old lady beats four finalists.  Four finalists are from Australia, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Kosovo. She was looking very pretty in her red dress. She jumps when she heard her name as Miss Universe 2009. She is the second consecutive Miss Venezuela to win Miss Universe.

Stefania Fernandez was also chosen as “Miss Elegance” “Best Face” and “Best Body”. Last year’s Miss Universe and This year Miss Universe celebrate joy and share hug on stage. Both jump in happiness. At the time when Dayana was placing crown on her head, Stefania accidentally drop the crown on stage and Dayana help her in picking it up.

During a question-and-answer round with the top five finalists, Fernandez said -”I feel we have reached the level that men are at,” she said. She believed women have overcome obstacles such as hitting the well-known glass ceiling.

The 1 runner-up was Miss Dominican Republic, Ada Aimee De la Cruz. 2nd runner-up was Miss Kosovo Gona Dragusha and Miss Australia Rachael Finch was awarded as 3rd runner-up. Besides this Miss Photogenic award given to Miss China Wang Jingyao and Miss Thailand Chutima Durongdej is chosen as Miss Congeniality.
