Simon Cowell’s competition ‘X Factor’ which is a new reality show was started on 22nd of August in the UK. Danyl Johnson, who is a 27 year old teacher from Reading, England, gave a very expressive audition. He was the last contestant of that night.

Simon gave a standing ovation and told that “Danyl was single-handedly, one of the best first auditions I have ever heard.”

Simon called it the first best audition he has ever heard in about nine years of judging the shows. Truly? According to Simon “The guy is definitely very good, but I think that 58% of it is actually the background vocals and the audience reaction.”

All to the strains of Daughtry’s “What About Now”!

According to a listener “ I love the voice that is so strong, bluesy, and so much character that needs to be in mainstream , he has got the voice, the looks, the body, all fit for the pop idols. The same things that made leona lewis so popular.”
